can i get direct 2nd year admission in b.tech after completing my 3 years diploma in mech.engg.is there any exams i have to qualify and how much fees i had to pay

Yes, you can get direct admission in 2nd year of Engineering after completing Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. There is a good opportunity to get admission in IITs for a Diploma student. Any student who has completed his Diploma or appeared in final year exam can sit in IIT Mains exam and If a Diploma holder student get rank under 1,50,000 can apply for IIT Advance. After qualifying IIT Advance any Diploma holder student can get admission in IITs but they can't get admission in NITs. There is variation in fees for College but you have to pay approximately 35,000 to 55,000 per semester for IITs and other Colleges.
