Yes, you can apply for SBI Clerical Examination after completion of 12th provided you would have been secured 60% marks(55% marks for SC/ST candidate) in any stream from a recognised Board which is one of the criteria for eligibility for application to SBI Clerical exam.
Apart from the above eligibility criteria, you must be an Indian Citizen within the age of 18 to 28 years with upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidate up to 5 years and for OBC up to 3 years. Besides these criteria the candidate having completed Graduation in any stream from a recognised University is also eligible to apply for SBI Clerical exam. The candidate should have good knowledge over computer. The selection is through written exam followed by personal interview. The written exam is of objective type questions basing on the sujects like:- -General Awareness -English Language -Quantitative Aptitude -Reasoning -Computer knowledge The application can be made through on line only. If your marks in 12th standard exam is above 60% Then you are eligible for SBI CLERK If not Then you are not eligible for SBI CLERK exam. Sorry to say but you cannot give the SBI Clerical Exam after completion of the 12th class. The State Bank Of India has recently made amendments in the eligibility criteria for its Bank Clerical Exam which it conducts every year. Now the minimum educational qualification required for SBI Clerical Exam is graduation in any stream from any recognized college/university. Candidates pursuing graduation in final year are also not allowed to appear for the Exam. The State Bank Of India Selects candidates through this exam as : 1) Written Test 2) Personal Interview The Eligibility criteria required for SBI Clerical Exam are : ** The candidate must have completed graduation in any stream from any recognized college/university. ** There is no percentage bar applicable for this exam. ** The age of the candidate must lie in between 18-28 years considering that he/she belongs to General Category. ** A relaxation of 3 years is given to OBC Candidates whereas a relaxation of 5 years is given to SC/ST Candidates. ** The candidate must be an Indian Citizen. SBI stands for the State Bank of India .It conducts its own written exam for the different posts like : 1.Clerk 2.Probationary officer 3.Specialist Technical officer. As per the latest amendments made by the State Bank of India it has become compulsory that you must have minimum of bachelor's degree in order to become eligible for the clerical post of SBI . So with 10+2 as academic qualification you cannot apply for the SBI clerk entrance test. In nutshell ,what you require for the SBI clerk entrance exam is : >>Bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university with just passing % of marks. >>The age limit is 18-28 years for the general category candidates.Relaxation in age applicable to the obc of three years and sc/st of five years in upper age limit. >>You must be an Indian citizen. >>Basic knowledge of computer is compulsory. For SBI clerical exam you should be either 10+2 with 60% marks or a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University.
You are 10+2 passed but you have not given your percentage details so it become difficult to tell you that whether you are eligible or not. If you have scored 60% marks in 10+2 then surely you can apply for SBI Clerk. Age Limit: Age is required to be between 18 to 28 years if you are General category candidate. Age is relaxable as per the government rules. On the basis of latest rules you are not eligible for appearing in SBI clerk examination after completing 12th. The latest eligibility criteria SBI has set for the Clerical post examinations are as follows: a) Candidates with Bachelor’s degree in any stream from any recognized college / university. b) Citizenship – Indian c) Age eligibility: i) Candidates belonging to General category - 18 - 28 years ii) Candidates belonging to OBC category – 18 - 31 years iii) Candidates belonging to SC/ST category – 18 - 33 years. Process of examination: a) Written Test b) Interview No. of Attempts for different category candidates: Candidates belonging to General Category can apply upto 4 times. Yes. You are eligible to give SBI Clerk Exam after scoring 68% in 12th class. SBI, the leading public sector bank in India will announce notifications every year for the recruitment of PO and Clerical positions. This year also, SBI has announced notification for the recruitment of 9500 Clerical positions. -One should have scored a minimum of 60% of marks in 12th class or in Diploma course after completion of 10th class. As per age criteria, one should be in the age group of 18-28 years to be eligible to apply for this exam. Relaxation is there in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category. Relaxation is there in upper age limit upto 5 years for the candidates of SC/ST category.
