As per your date of birth, you have attained the age of 17 years and therefore, you can definitely apply for Special Class Railway Apprentices (SCRA) Examination provided you fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
  • Must have passed higher secondary examination with atleast second division from a recognized board.
  • Must have studied Mathematics and Physics/Chemistry in the higher secondary level.
  • Must not be over 21 years of age. The maximum age limit for candidates belonging to SC/ST category is 26 years and for OBC category, it is 24 years.
The examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission and for further information, refer to its official website.
