Yes you are eligible for the IAS exam after completing graduating with distance education.

IAS stands for Indian Adminstrative Service. This exam conducted by the upsc once in a year.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

The candidate should be citizen of india.

The candidate should complete the graduation from any recognized university.

There is no minimum percentage of marks required to eligible for this exam.

The final year pursuing candidates are also eligible for this exam.

The age limit should be between 21 to 30 years.

3 years age relaxation fro the obc candidates.

5 years age relaxation for the sc/st candidates.

Both male and female candidates are eligible for this exam.

Yes , definitely you are eligible for IAS test even if you have completed your graduation through distance education because the academic qualification you require to appear for IAS exam is you must have completed your graduation in any stream from any recognized college / university , no matter you have completed your graduation through regular course or distance course.

My friend as long as your college is recognized there should be no problem. Candidates with distance education degree are also eligible for Indian Administrative Service. So do not worry and apply for the Civil Service Examination.

A candidate having graduation degree through distance learning is surely eligible for the IAS (Civil Services) Entrance exam.

But the condition is that the degree should be from an University that is recognised by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or from an educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University Under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act(UGC), 1956.

A Candidate having degree from any of these universities or educational institutions are eligible.
