Yes , you are eligible for apply but private university also recognized by govt of India or state govt

Yes, you are eligible for IAS after Graduating from a private University if the University is recognised by UGC.
IAS - Indian Administrative Service, to become an IAS officer, one has to apply, appear and crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC every year. The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream of education from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30b years with upper age relaxation fro reserved candidate. If your college is recognized by the government of India then yes you can apply for Indian Administrative Service. There is no restriction on appearing for Indian Administrative Exam, if the candidate has completed graduation through private, distance education etc. as long as the college is recognized.
If your college is recognized then please feel free to apply for the Indian Administrative Service Exam under the Civil Service Exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. It is mandatory to clear this exam. There is no such thing as direct entry. The role of IAS officer is administrative in nature. IAS officer is involved in the planning for the district. He/She takes active role in the drafting of the policy. IAS officer has to meet senior level officers on regular basis to help them understand the needs of his district. IAS officer suggests modification so that district can take full benefits of the policy. Apart from drafting the policy, IAS officer also has to play key role in its implementation in his district. IAS officer has to travel to the place to ensure that policy is being implemented properly. He will have to ensure that public funds are being used for the right purpose. Eligibility 1. The candidate should be Indian citizen. 2. Must have a bachelor degree in any discipline. 3. There is no percentage criteria. 4. Age limit is 21 to 30 years. 5. Yes, you are eligible for IAS examination doesn't matter you studied in Private University or Govt. Yes, You are eligible for IAS exam as you are graduate , There are some other eligibility which also you have to fulfill .. The age limit is 21 - 30 yrs. There is age relaxation for Sc/St & OBC candidates. Because for apply IAS exam the minimum Education qualification is Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University. IAS exam is conducted by UPSC under Civil Services exam. Eligibility criteria:- Candidate should be an Indian citizen. Candidate should be completed Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University. Age should be between 21 years to 30 years for General category candidates. Age relaxation for OBC category candidates 3 years And SC/ST category candidates 5 years. Number of Attempts:- General category candidates - 4 time OBC category Candidates - 7 time SC/ST category candidates - No limit.
