Am I eligible for IBPS clerk exam? I have done BSc IT from Kuvempur University
i have done BSC(it) from kuvempu university through NIIT. am i eligible for ibps clerk examination.

Educational qualification: Any degree from recognized university. Age Criteria: Minimum: 18 years Maximum:28 years Upper age relaxation for reserved category candidates is as follows: 3 years for OBC. 5 years for SC. 10 years for PWD. Selection process:- Written exam, Personal interview. Syllabus for written exam:- General english, Reasoning, Numerical ability, Marketing aptitude, General awareness/Computer knowledge. |

Dear friend yes you are eligible to apply IBPS Clerk exam after passing B.Sc IT from a recognized University.
Because for apply IBPS exam then the minimum Education qualification is Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University. Eligibility criteria for IBPS Clerk exam :- Candidate should be an Indian citizen. Candidate should be completed Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University. Age should be between 20 years to 28 years for General category candidates. Age relaxation for OBC category candidates 3 years And SC/ST category candidates 5 years. Yes, you are eligible for IBPS Clerical Exam as you have completed Graduation Degree in B.Sc. I.T.
IBPS - Institute of Banking Personal Selection conducts Clerical exam for 20 Public sector Banks from time to time. Graduation in any discipline will make you eligible for IBPS clerk examination.
Hence if you have done B.Sc from Kuvenpure University then surely you can apply for IBPS clerk examination. There isn't any percentage criteria for IBPS clerk so you can apply for it without worrying about your Graduation marks. You are definitely eligible for the IBPS Clerical entrance exam. If interested you can apply for it now since the registration process is going it. Recently IBPS issued the notification for the entrance exam.
This entrance exam will be conducted in November which should give you sufficient enough time to prepare. However if you find the time not sufficient enough then better skip the November exam and wait for the IBPS Clerical in 2014 which is be conducted first in March. The IBPS Clerical exam is conducted for 20 public sector banks. Here is the list of banks. Allahabad Bank Andhra Bank Bank of Baroda Bank of Maharashtra Bank of India Central Bank of India Canara Bank Dena Bank Corporation Bank IDBI Bank Indian Overseas Bank Indian Bank Punjab National Bank Oriental Bank of Commerce Syndicate Bank Punjab & Sind Bank United Bank of India Union Bank of India Vijaya Bank UCO Bank IBPS Clerical Eligibility 1.
