am i eligible for the jrf and other geological exams.

yes you are eligible.

now the eligibility of lecturing in colleges is post graduation and net or PhD.there for you have to pass ugc net in your subject and also there is junior research fellowship(JRF) exam along with the net exam

Dear Aspirant,

Qualification For NET Examination:

Master Degree with 55% marks in the related subject, in which you want to give this examination.
(5% relaxation for SC/ST and PH Candidates)

Final Year Student can also apply for the NET Examination.

So, you can apply for the NET examination.

This examination is conducts twice in a year in every June and December.

Examination form will be issued in the month of October for December Month.

?i am continuing bsc 1st year

You are not eligible for UGC NET but you are eligible for CSIR-UGC NET. Since most of the science subjects are in CSIR-UGC NET.
