sir can i eligible for NTPC exam if my current age <21.

If you have completed B.E/ B.Tech in respective stream then you are eligible to apply for NTPC recruitment irrespective of your age consideration. There is no certain minimum age is required to apply for NTPC examination but the maximum age must not exceed 27 years. Generally NTPC recruitments are done through Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) Examination. So if you are eligible to apply for GATE Examination, it means you are also eligible to appear in NTPC Recruitments. If you have completed B.E/ B.Tech in any of the below streams with minimum 65% marks and have qualified in GATE Examination, then you are eligible to apply for NTPC Recruitments.

* Instrumentation Engineering
* Electronics Engineering

Note: Since there is no maximum age limit, you are certainly eligible to appear in NTPC recruitments when you are already done with B.E/ B.Tech.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NTPC EXAM

** You should possess B.Tech/B.E/B.Sc (technology)/AMIE in relevant discipline with minimum 65% marks.

** Your age should be between 20 to 27 years.

** Final year/semester students are also eligible however they have to obtain at least 65% marks in their Engineering Degree.
