Am i eligible to prepare for engineering entrance exam after scoring 43 marks?


Sir,
I got 43 marks for the subject mathematics in cbse exam held in 2013.I want to know this mark is eligible for preparing engineering entrance rank list.

Having passed and secured 43 marks in your Mathematics paper you are eligible for appearing in the engineering entrance examination if your overall aggregate in the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics sum up to 60% for appearing in JEE where as for state EEE it must be at least 50% if you belong to general category as marks relaxation upto 10% are applicable for reserved category candidates.

Also for pursuing the Bachelor of technology / Bachelor of engineering degree course your aggregate in PCM needs to be atleast 50%.

For getting admission in the good government engineering colleges like IIT, NIT, IIIT, CFTIs, State government engineering colleges you need to clear entrance examination like JEE, State EEE, SRMEEE, VITEEE, etc. .
