Minimum percentage marks on aggregate will be decided by the bank.

SBI is conducting its Probationary Officer Recruitment and has published the notification for the same. SBI - State Bank of India is the best bank in India and also is amongst the top 100 banks in the world. So being a Probationary Officer in the SBI is like a dream come true for the candidates.

There are a few basic Eligibility Criteria's which the candidate has to fulfill in order to get selected for this post. However the exam is open for all and anybody can attempt it by paying the required fees. They are :-

You should be an Indian with age between 20-28 years. A relaxation of s few years are given to the reserved category.
Secondly you must be a minimum graduate in ANY stream from any recognized college or university by the Central Government. No minimum percentage criteria is given.

As far as the final year Eligibility is concerned, I am SORRY TO SAY THAT YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THE SBI PO 2013. This is because in the Notification its very clearly written that YOU MUST BE A MINIMUM GRADUATE (as on 1-01-2013) ! Hence you are not eligible this year and you have to apply next year for it.

Dear Aspirant,

Yes you can write the exams because the sbi exam is on april Ending.

So for results it may take few days may be 1 or 2 months.

But if the results are announced early then it may be a problem for you.

Since if you are in the selected candidates list for the sbi p.o you need to show your degree certificate.

So if you fail to show the certificate at the interview time you will be disqualified.There will be no chance to continue in this recruitment process of 2013 if you failed to show them.

So if you are confident that you can show then you can go ahead writing the exam.

My choice is to just write the exam for the exam practise so that atleast that experience can be helpful in the other exams.

So never the less the writing of exam can be a advantage for you.So dont worry just apply for it and write the exam.

Even i applied for this exam.If any queries you can contact me anytime.But hurry up the last date is very near.

Notifications for the recruitment of the Probationary Officers by State Bank Of India has already been published. You can apply for this exam between 30th January to 23rd January 2013. So tomorrow is the last day for online application of this exam.

Eligibility Criteria:-

1. The basic criteira is that you need to be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.

2. Lower age limit for the exam is 21 years. For general category candidates the upper age limit is 30 years.

3. Age relaxation is applicable for the reserved category candidates. For SC/ST candidates it is 5 years and for OBC candidates it is 3 years.

4. There is a two stage selection process to break through in order to get finally selected. Firstly you need to sit for the written exam and on getting the desired marks you will have to qualify in the group discussion round and interview session. Specific marks have been allotted for each session.

Exam Pattern:-

The written exam will have both objective and descriptive tests.

For the objective section total marks allotted is 200. There will be four sections to answer of 50 marks each. Total time allotted is two hours. Following are the four sections:-

=> English Language
=> General Awareness
=> Data Analysis and Interpretation
=> Reasoning

For the descriptive section 50 marks have been allotted. You will mainly get the following kinds of questions to answer: Short precis, letter writing, comprehension and essay. Total time allotted is one hour.

Final selection will be based on the marks you have managed to get in both the sections. For the interview and group discussion round a maximum of 50 marks will be allotted.
