Am I eligible for SCRA Exam with a date of birth of 10-05-1995?
Can i eligible for scra 2012 jan exam. My DOB is 10.05.95

No, You are Not Eligible for SCRA Examination Because to apply for this examination You must have attained the age of 17 years and must not have attained the age of 21 years on 1st January, 2012, And you must have been born not earlier than 2nd January, 1991 and not later than 1st January, 1995.
But, You are Born After 1 Jan 1995, So You are Not eligible to apply for SCRA Examination for this year. So, Please apply for SCRA Examination in 2013, Till then keep practice this examination, so that you will be cracked this examination. To apply for This examination, You have to complete your 12Th examination OR Graduate degree course with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as their degree subjects, Final year appearing candidates are also apply for SCRA Examination. But Now you are Not eligible for SCRA Examination, So please apply for this examination Next year. The Notification of SCRA Examination will be Published in the employment Newspaper OR in the UPSC Website Every Year. No,you are not eligible for SCRA exam.SCRA (Special Class Railway Apprentice) examination is conducted by UPSC every year once.
Eligibility criteria for SCRA examination: Education qualification: Candidate should have complete 12th class with PCM stream from any recognized university. Age limit: Age should be between 17 to 21 years. For more details,then see this attachment. |

sorry to say you are not eligible for the SCRA exam because the age limit for the exam is 17 to 21 that means you age is just 15 years minimum 17 years required and also The qualification to write the exam is 12Th with recognized board. But you are born on 1 Jan 1995. The candidates you are born on 1 Jan 1991 to 1 Jan 2012. you are eligible to write the exam after 3 2 years i.e in 2013 you are eligible to write the exam. if you are interested to write the exam please wait up to the 2013.Before the Exam you have to practice well for the exam. for more information about the exam www.upsc.gov.in all the best and take care |

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible for SCRA exam conducted by UPSC. the minimum age should be 17 year. you can apply from next year. ALL THE BEST! |

![]() Eligibility Criteria For SCRA Exam SCRA refers to Special Class Railway Apprentice.. The forms for the SCRA 2012 exam are already available in the market and the last date for filling up the forms is 21st November,2011.. In order to appear for SCRA exam..you need to satisfy the following minimum eligibility criteria :- 1) You should be within the age limit of 17-21 years.. 2) You should have passed your 12th with Physics,Chemistry and Maths as your subjects.. Your age will be seen as on 1st August,2012.. Since,by 1st August,2012..you would have attained the age of 17 years..hence you are definitely eligible for appearing in the SCRA exam.. Exam Pattern :- The written exam tests you on your basic academic knowledge of English,Science and Maths.. The paper is of 600 marks.. No,you are not eligible to apply for this examination.Because you should have a 17 years at the time of appearing.But your age is just 16 years.So you can n't apply for this examination.
Age limits :- The candidate must have attained 17 years and must not attained 21 years.(i.e he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd January,1991 and not later than 1st January,1995. But you are eligible to apply for next session.If you are interested apply for the next year(2013). Qualification to apply :- 12th examination with mathematics and at least one of subjects physics and chemistry as subjects of the examination. no you are not eligible for SCRA examination becuase the age limit is between 17 years to 21 years.you can apply for scra in 2013...till then keep on practicing so that you can click it in first attempt...all the best..
