I completed 10th standard on 2008, now I am 21.
I saw here that with my 10th certificate I can join Diploma in Civil Engineering and later for P.G.
I want to know that, for joining P.G after diploma, should I pass Higher Secondry?

There are few poltechnics in India which offers diploma course for 10 passed students however most of the polytechnics prefer a 12 passed student for a diploma course .I would suggest you to complete your 12 standard first before applying to any polytechnic course after which you can do your diploma in civil engineering and later on do B.e civil engineering through the lateral entry scheme .

Yes, you can join Diploma Civil Engineering after 10th standard.

The candidate having secured 60% in 10th is eligible to apply for three years Diploma In Civil Engineering. For admission the candidate has to appear for the entrance exam conducted by the institution and after successfully getting through the entrance exam, he will be be admitted to Diploma Course.

Some Institutions conduct admission on the basis of mark secured in 10th.

There is no need to pass high school for P.G. diploma if you already have a general diploma, hence dont worry

i have compleated my 10th in 2007 without maths and science through (nos) national open school, due to some fmly resion i am not able to compleat my 12th, now in 2013 i want to do diploma in civil engineering bcz i wand to do civil engineering regular corce.

You need not worry about your future.Your wish to select civil engineering is good one.If you work hard and aim to learn more subject,this will be more useful in case of civil engineering.Another useful thing is to show more interest on your course.

Yes you can apply for the diploma in civil engineering after 10 th.

But to do post graduation in any field the basic need is graduation.

And graduation definitely needs 12th passed students.

So ultimately If you want to do post graduation complete your 12th and then persue engineering Degree in civil.

Or else you can do diploma in civil engg but then also you will have to complete your degree further to do postgraduation.

Yes,you can join in diploma in civil engineering after completing your 10th standard.But to get admission into the diploma course you need to appear for the Diploma entrance exam and if you qualify in the entrance exam then nyou can get admission into the diploma course.

After completion of the diploma in civil engineering you can join in second year engineering by appearing for the Lateral Entry Examination which is conducted by the directorate of technical education and after qualifying in the entrance exam then you can get admission into the engineering college and then you can choose the civil engineering in the engineering course and you will have good job opportunities after completing the engineering with more than 60% of marks and the companies offer high salary package of about 4-5 lakhs per year.

You can definitely do diploma in civil engineering after your 10th class.To do diploma you have to face a entrance exam conducted by your state government for diploma.Once you qualified in that exam you can get admission in any college for polytechnic course.

1.It is good to say that you can do diploma after passing 10th class.
2.Before that write CEEP entrance exam to do diploma in any stream.
3.After completion your diploma you can go for job or you can do B.E or B.Tech
4.After B.Tech you can do M.Tech or MBA depends upon your intrest.
5.also you can do PHD after your graduation.

There are some polytechnics in which there is entrance examination after 10th

to get admission and do diploma in civil engineering and the mostly polytechnics

preferring the candidates with 10+2. So consult the polytechnic nearby you to

confirm the admission OR log on to technical education site of your site they

tell you in details about this.

Yes you can..
there are many careers after your diploma in civil.
Unlike previous days, its not necessary for you to go to BTech or MTech, instead you can just pursue a Management degree after your diploma in the same field.
There is an institute by the name RICS school of built environment which offers such careers.
You may want to check their website.
