SCRA stands for Special Class Railway Apprentices and this examination is conducted to select candidates in Mechanical Department of Indian Railways, the examination is conducted every year and if you are interested then you can apply for this examination next year only if you are fulfill the age and educational Qualification.

To apply for this examination you must have attained the age of 17 years and must not have attained the age of 21 years on 1st January, 2012, i.e. you must have been born not earlier than 2nd January, 1992 and not later than 1st January, 1996.

So, as per the age you are eligible to apply for this examination next year.

Notification of SCRA Examination is going to be Published soon in the month of October next Month and eligible candidates may fill the application form online only from the official website.

To apply for this examination you must have completed your Intermediate examination OR graduate degree course with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry from a recognised university.

The examination is objective and there are 3 papers in this examination and you have to cracked each one of the examination.


=> Paper-I General Ability Test (English, General Knowledge and Psychological Test)

=> Paper-II Physical Sciences (Physics and Chemistry)

=> Paper-III Mathematics.

So, please prepared well for this examination as per the pattern and syllabus, only then you will be able to cracked this examination, if you need more details then you can check the official website of UPSC.
