Eligibility For UGC NET

UGC does not offer Botany as a subject of examination, so if you want..you can appear for Environmental Science as it is the closest to your stream..

You can appear for UGC NET if :-

1) You have secured an aggregate of 55% marks in your post graduation from a recognized University..

2) In case you are applying for Junior Research Fellowship then you must be less than 28 years of age on the 1st day of the month of the exam..

Note :- There is no restriction on the age limit for candidates applying for lectureship..

In order to see the various subjects offered by UGC..you can Click Here

I have attached some previous year question papers of UGC NET Environmental Science for your reference..

Go through them and I hope they will help you out in your preparations..

all the best..

With Warm Regards

If you have interest in information technology or computer application then MCA would the best or better and easy course for you. Although you can also do M.Sc or other engineering cores in Computer Science but MCA has more scope therefore you should definitely pursue it.
when You scored well in 10th and 12th and are doing great in B.Sc as well. If you manage to keep 65 percent or above for B.Sc and then for MCA, you definitely have a great scope.

Considering your performance, I am quite certain that top IT companies will be more than happy to hire you. Generally they require candidate to score around 60/65 percent throughout academic career. While your performance is far better as for now.

To pursue MCA you will have to appear for the entrance exam. Some of the exams are mentioned below:

AIMCET

MAH MCA CET

BIT

OJEE

VIT

ICET

You will need minimum of 50 percent marks in graduation to pursue Master of Computer Applications. You should also have Maths as one of the subjects in 12th or graduation to pursue MCA.

After completing MCA you can apply for jobs in one of the following companies.

Infosys

HCL

NCT

Microsoft

Wipro

Tech Mahindra

Satyam

IBM

VIPRO ETC........
