any chance for 40420 rank to pursue BTECH...please tell me the chance

As you will understand that though your rank is big but in terms of engineering ranking, it is a very low ranking. Although you will not get a chance in government aided engineering colleges but you can definitely go for private engineering colleges. Now here there are two things. Did you appear for the subsequent counseling that is supposed to take place to accommodate candidates to appropriate engineering colleges.
If yes then you will be guided by your counselors as to which engineering college you should join. If you did not go for the counseling process then you need to check the newspapers. They give regular advertisements of private engineering colleges, under classified columns, wanting candidates for admission. Do contact them via mail or website to join there. One thing I must let you know here that the fee structure will be more here. Nevertheless the educational procedure and placement procedure will be same.
