Any chance for IITs after scoring 27 marks/100 in OBC and AIR of 414, GATE score-295? Which course should I opt in IITs?


I'm R.Vignesh Kumar doing my B.Tech (final year) in Rubber & plastics Technology course here in Madras Institute of Technology, Anna university.


I've got 27 marks out of 100 (OBC), got qualified in GATE examinations. All India Rank- 414, GATE score- 295.
Is there any possibility for me in entering into prestigious IIT's with respect to my domain.

Certain courses that i would like to pursueis,
1.Rubber Technology
2.Polymer technology
3.Material Science

could you please clarify me , on which course should i opt for, for getting a seat into IIT?

it depend upon ur intrest. polymer i thnk u should opt 4.

sorry to say dear your GATE score is very poor for IITs.

most of the IIT have not those stream so chance is too less.

because they are shortlisted candidate in the basis of GATE score.

you can try once more time for GATE exam and also secure good marks.

after that you have good chance for best IITs.

sir want to get sit from iit in m.tech computer science, how much mark i will score to got it in gate?

can i get into IIT madras after scoring 25.33 marks and 348 score in GATE-12
