Respected sir, i ve taken the engineering seat in SSIT Tumkur, since it s a deemed university college i m thinking a much about it, so can u please tell me whether any disadvantages r there in doing such colleges. And this college s not yet taken the approval from AICET.. How good is that if i join there..??

hi dude ssit already approved from AICTE and NBA new delhi their is no disadvantage in studying in ssit

Off course you can get job.. Its not like deemed or VTU or anything.. Its purely depends on your talent and performance!!!

I heard that some management problem is their in this institute. Also most of the private companies are not considering degree from this college.

SSIT is money making Institute, so please donot think about admission in this SSIT even in dream.

its purely depends on your knowledge and hard work you put not on deemed or vtu, almost all students passed out from ssit are in good position today

Pls do join ssit tumkur it is a good college and the deemed university status will be given by UGC. Donot vary ur degree will be equal to degree given by VTU.

Govermant has decided cancel their deemed status also other 44 universities...

there is a no problem at all in ssit.go and take admission with out doubt.u will be settled with good placement

ya its true but not now its in 2012 the govt thought to cancel the Deemed to be Universities, but all the university management not agreed with that proposal & they took the approval from the supreme court to run as a Deemed university only....

SSIT has got the status of deemed university bu UGC, delhi. IISC, MAHE are also deemed universities.
