Re: Any scope in government sector for BSc Biotech?
Hi Navneet,
Yes you are right biotechnology has a little bit of limited applicable areas in comparison to other educational genre. But what you see here is that the fields to which biotechnology appeals very seldom other fields of education appeals. You can join any government hospitals or clinical places where you can be their research worker. But for this you must at least have your M.Sc in Biotechnology. This will take just two years, so I would ask you to do it. Many private pharmaceutical companies also take biotech people for their research and development team. Also just make sure that to make your resume a little more attractive for such an offer you have certain journals and papers published to your credit. Second thing that you can opt for in a clinical house is to be their data analyst. You can also join the government criminal investigation centers as their data analyst, forensic experts. But for all this also, it would be better if you publish a few papers related to the biotechnology and bio informatics genre. This research work will help you a lot while you are doing the data analysis. |
