what is the average salary package for an iit B-TECH passout student????

Dear Friend

If you are an IIT-JEE aspirant and you have planned to study in IITs in future, then
I would suggest you not to think over these sort of issues.

These things are not fixed at all.

In IITs, the minimum package may go around 4-5 lakhs and maximum package may
go beyond 50 lakhs. It surely means that the one who got 50 lakhs would be very
much talented, hard working and sincere but it never means that the other IITians
with less annual package would be dull personalities.

IITs are such a platform where you always learn to lead, dominate and most importantly
the self-confidence.

The first package which someone get at the time of placement can't decide one's
entire future. People switch companies after some experience and climb up very fast
in the industrial hierarchy. So, it can't be an issue for an IITian that what would
be his/her first salary. After passing out from the college they just need a job where
they can perform real engineering; Money runs behind that performance.

So, don't think over the issue that 'if it is safe to be an IITian?'

It is always safer and will be the same way.

An IITian a branded person whole life and the brand always cashes into respect and money.

but those students which are studying in IIT'S have the better chance to get the big salary packages. because IIT'S are have the top reputation than other institutes.

but as you have asked about average salary packages,

average salary packages in the old iit's are 6 to 7 lakhs per year. and i new iit's it is 4 to 5 lakhs per year.

in iit one can get the package more than 30 lakhs per year. so the achieving of the best package is depends on the acadamics record.

Computer,mechanical and electronic guy get hefty pay packages and the avergae could be anywhere between 4.5 to 7 lakhs

IITs are the topmost institute in india.all the good students are get admission in to it.many companies come iit for campus selection.the salary is not fixed ,it varies company to company .for example ASHOK LEYLAND come for campus interview its salary is 7lakh pre annum.MICROSOFT its salary is 9lakh per annum.

it depends only on student . If a student study hard in can get a high salary

if he\she doesn't then get minimum package of 4 lakhs

iitans are getting around 2 crore to 32 crores per month my uncle geting 6 crores per month

Iit's had been the top colleges in india. And pay package are superb. Lakhs lakhs you earn per year. Right now an IIT-Kg boy got 70 lakhs package ,its just starting. Dont think just get into IIT.

i passed btech in mechanical engineering from iit bmbay.... i got placement in california for 13 crore per annum

in which stream did u do your 12 you haven't mentioned.whereas high scope for high job salary is there in all the 3 sectors science,arts,commerce.it depends on u to choose the right sector as per your interest.you have to be competetive enough to cope with the situations then only you can earn the highest

You can join in any IT job if you got a job before you complete your B.Tech degree.Otherwise you can go for higher studies.Difinately it is an added advantage for candidates who finish higher course after their graduation in B.Tech.
You are a candidate of technical background,The organization may use to perform various technical activities in addition to the management activities.
Having B.Tech degree will also help you in resolving technical problems easily and ther are many other advantages for you through your B.Tech degree.
