Re: Is B.Sc(IT) better than B.Sc(comp.sci.)?
dear friend
Firstly i will inform to you that no course is good or bad, all the courses have its own importance. So according to me all the courses are good. But its depends on your interest. So, always choose those field in which you have get a great satisfaction. But i will answer of your question also. In now a days B.sc computer science have wide scope. So, if you go for B.sc computer science, then it is better for you and definately you will find good job in future. But overall, its totally depends on your choice, So please choose those filed in which you have like most........ |

Re: Is B.Sc(IT) better than B.Sc(comp.sci.)?
See both are equally good. But i would suggest you to go for computer science. Reason is simple that computer science gradutes are considered hot favourites.
So if you are too good in programming skills then you can get a job just like how an engineer gets and payscale depends on you hardwork and talent. IT also has scope but since last few years its degrading according to me due to recession and the field is considered saturated. So go for computer science |

This question is not for comparison. You have to decide yourself because every one have their own opinion. Every field is good and have scope. You have to choose only your interest field. But if you want suggestion then choose B.sc.(cs) Good luck |

hi , actually both are good but as i am also belongs to computer science i would suggest you to go for computer science because both CS & IT are similar and so far subjects are also similar but at some stage in IT you will study only the application of some subjects while in computer science you will study more which is imp for future prospects, so studying computers means you are good for IT also but might be possilble that studying IT not good for having the full command in computer ,so i would suggest you to go for B.Sc computer science..all the best |

Both the courses have something in common and that is, it is related to software industry. Whether you take B.Sc (IT) or B.Sc (Comp. Science) is hardly going to make any difference as far as placement and your post graduation is concerned. Though the name of the courses differ, there is very little difference between the subjects that you learn for IT and Computer Science and the orientation is also the same. It is better that you take a final call after going through the syllabus of both the courses and then see which appeals you the most. |

dear friend, choosing B.Sc (IT) or B.Sc(CS) is very confusing.
you can any one of these as per your interest. If you are interested in programming skills then you should opt B.Sc(IT),other wise for more knowledge about hardware you should choose B.Sc(CS). just choose any one as per your interest. good luck. |

Dear compsc is best because you can be called as an engineers but behind some years IT has less demand and it seems the possibilities that may it will be increase in demand but compsc is evergreen branch.

Re: Is B.Sc(IT) better than B.Sc(comp.sci.)?
dear friend,
both are similar, there are small difference between these two. if u have interest in software developing then u should go for B.sc(CSE). and if u have interest in data mining, data encrypting then go for B.sc(IT). I will suggest u to go for B.sc(CSE). there is a huge scope for getting good job than IT. ALL THE BEST. |

hi
in my experience actually two subjects are most probably same. because two course have same syllabus you nothing to read extra. just one or two paper different from total course. So what ever you read there is a wide scope for all............. |
