Is B.tech(electrical)with 65 % is eligible for bank PO ?
Dear Sir ,
I am B.tech(4 years), 65 % Electrical engineer . pls tell whether i am eligible for Allahabad Bank PO 2010 or not ? because i am not having any NIIT,or no any diploma(3 months) course . |

you are elegible for the exam,generally for any exam the cutt off is 60%,

the eligibility for the exam is graduation with minimum 60%.....and the niit and special courses are not compulsory for appearing for the exam........

but why after b.tech you want to go for PO if many other jobs are available as you are an engineer go in some power companies or in electric sub station .... |

since for recriutment of allahabad bank p.o. it is necessary to have any valid certification course of niit so i dont think u can appear for this. |

Candidate must not be more than 30 years of age to be recruited as bank PO.
•Candidate must be nationality of India. •Candidate must be graduated in any discipline with minimum of 55% aggregate from a Government recognized University. •Computer qualification like diploma in computer operation from NIIT, SSI, Aptech, CMC, DOEACC course / certificate (O/A/B/C) level etc. is also essential for fulfilling eligibility criteria |

yes you are eligible for the exam but there is an additional requirement for the students those who are applying for allahabad bank PO exams 2010 that they must possess a computer certificate .and i dont think that is a big issue you can get it from any institute by joining short term courses no need to bother about only niit certificate . hope you make it and all the best for exam...

you just concentrate on your study.....just solve verbal,non-verbal reasoning,analytical mathematics........and of course in current features on your daily news..............and you have to be strong in english............be confident... all the best....... |

yes you are eligible for the bank po exam as your marks is above 60% in graduation,you just concentrate on your study,just solve verbal,non-verbal reasoning,analytical mathematics,and you have to be strong in english. all the best....... |

why not,obviously he is eligible for bank,p.o.bt for that u have to to do some work.first of all u must register ur resume in various jobs site like 1.www.freshers world.com 2.www.monsterjob.com 3.www.nocri.com. etc.when any vacancy releases autumatically inform u by messege or email etc.or u may follow various newspapers like 1.employment news 2.joob times etc from where u get total job related information. as u have 65% marks ,according to my knowledge ,u can sit any kind of bank or p.o related exam. so take decission & make ur bright future. good luck. |

Yes, off course Btech(electrical) student is eligible to appear in bank PO exam because the minimum educational requirement for appearing in bank PO exam is a bachelors degree from any recognised university. Bank PO exam only requires a 60% marks in graduation level and this graduation is independant of stream or branch or any year degree. Means you are eligible for all types of Bank PO exams. But please try for management trainee exam instead of PO. You are happy to know that you are also eligible for specialist officer vacancies. Now a days SBI requires Specialist officer in electrical branch also. Do try for it, it is much better than bank PO since its eligibility is engineering degree not any degree. |

definately you are eligiable for bank PO after B.tech(electrical)with 65 %. as the criteria to attain in the bank po exam is 1.minimum 55% marks in graduation. 2.age limit 21-29 years. all the best...... |

The criteria for bank p.o is Graduation 50% from any discipline. so you are eligible for the allahbad bank p.o exam. there is no need of NIIT or any diploma courses for it. So don't worry just prepare for it. good luck!!!! |
