The basic qualification required
to join Air force is that you should have to pass 12TH class with physics and maths. After clearing your 12th exam you can appear for NDA exam. About NDA National defence academy conducts exam to select candidates for Army,Navy and Air force. To join Indian Army, Airforce or Navy you need to pass the exam called National Defense Academy (NDA) by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC).
This exam takes place twice a year in the months of April and August. The procedure of NDA is divided in 5 categories. 1. Written Test 2. Physical Test 3. Medical Test 4. Group Test 5 Personality Test To join army you should pass 12th in any stream. For Airforce and Navy, minimum qualification is 12Th with physics and mathematics. The Age limit to appear in exam is 16.5 to 19 years Only unmarried Indian Nationals are allowed to appear in exam. There are some physical eligibility that the candidates should also meet Height :- 167CMS. Weight :- 50Kgs Eye sight :- 6/6 - Note: All candidates who have gone through Lasik Surgery will be disqualified. Chest :- 77CMS(Normal) and 82CMS(Expanding) |

Joinning into Army is very nice option.. the basic qualification for joinning Army is 1.Must be a citizen of india 2.male should be unmarried 3.candidate should be a 12th pass with Physics and Maths 4.Age limit is 16 1/2 to 19 years all the best.. |

if you want to join just after 12th then you have to appear for NDA.if after graduation you want to join then you can join by UES-university entry scheme.every year indian recruit graduates in many streams.see employment news papers continiously,,,best of luck.

Indian Army can be joined basically in two ways after 12th through NDA and CDS.
NDA-NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA. The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12trh exam or pass from a recognised Board in any stream within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical Fitness. CDS-COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE exam conducted by UPSC twice every year for entry in to Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer's Training Academy of CDS. The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 25 years with good Physical Fitness. Indian Army:
Technical Entry Scheme ( TES ) for male 10+2 ( PCM ) candidates. 10+2 Pass unmarried make candidates with Physic, Chemistry & Maths ( PCM ) with a minimum of 70% marks and between the age of 16½ and 19½ Years are eligible for the grant of permanent commission in the Army after 4 Years of technical military training with prescribed terms eligible candidates are invited through advertisement in the Employment News and other prominent dailies. The candidates must have a 6/6 eyesight in each eye with or without glasses and a minimum height of 157.5 cm with chest expansion of 5 cm. Candidates have to clear total training period of 5 Years including 1 Year of Basic Military training at Indian Military Academy, Dehradun and 4 Years of Technical training at Pune Secunderabad. On successful completion of course, cadets are granted Permanent Commission in the rank of Lieutenant as also an Engineering degree. Following are other avenues of employment for X & XII pass candidates in India Army: Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs ) : Applicants for the post of JCOs in catering should be between 21 – 27 Years with a 10+2 with Science and a 1 Year cookery diploma or a certificate from a recognized foodcraft institute. JCOs as Religious Teachers are males between 27 Years and 34 Years who are graduates in any discipline with a qualification in their own religious denomination.
