Iam a plus two science passed girl of 18 yrs.
I want to join as officer in army,navy or airforce.

Indian Army can be joined as officer after 12th through cracking NDA entrance exam.

NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force.

The eligible candidate wishing to join Indian Army, must be an unmarried Indian Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental health.

The NDA can be applied through on line only by paying requisite fee for the exam.

The selection is through written exam followed by Personal Interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test.

After passing 10+2 with Science stream Females candidates will not be able to join Defense Academy.However if you want to Join Indian Defense then you can join Indian Air-Force after completing your Bachelor degree course.You can apply for Air-Force Common Admission Test to get jobs in Indian Air-Force.To apply for AFCAT Exam,you will required to meet these Eligibility conditions :

Educational qualification :-

• Those Candidates who have completed their Graduation minimum of 3 years in any discipline from recognized university will be eligible to apply for AFCAT Women Exam.
• Candidates should have Mathematics and Physics at +2/Inter level.

Marks required :-

• Candidates should have a minimum of 60% marks in all papers at Graduation and in +2 level.

Age Required :-

• Minimum age of the candidates should be 19 years.
• Candidates age should not be above 23 years.

To apply for AFCAT Women for Flying Branch to become an Air-Force Officer you will have to meet these given Physical Standards.These are :

1. Candidates minimum Height should be 162.5 cms with Appropriate weight.
2. Candidates Leg Length : Minimum 99 cms and Maximum 120 cms.
3. Candidates Thigh Length should be 64 cms.
4. Candidates Sitting Height : Minimum 81.5 cms and Maximum 96 cms.
5. Eye Vision should be 6/6 in one eye and 6/12 in other eye.
6. Candidates will allow a Eye vision OF 6/6 in both Eyes in case of Hypermetropia.

Selection Process :-

1. Intelligence test(Objective Type written test) and will include questions from Reasoning,Mathematics,General Awareness and English.
2. Psychological Test which include Interview,Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
3. Pilot Battery Aptitude Test for becoming a Flying Officer.

You can join Indian Armed Forces after completing your graduation.

You will have to appear for CDS examination which is conducted by UPSC twice a year.

You can join Officers' Training Academy after clearing CDS written examination which will be followed by SSB interview.

Eligibility:

1. Graduation Degree from a recognized University.

2. Age between 19 to 25 years.

Dear Aspirant,




$$ Since, you have completed your 10+2 but, being a girl candidate you are not eligible for applying the NDA Examination......

$$ NDA is the Test for joining the Indian Defense System which stands for the National Defense Academy this exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission Twice time in the Single year.....


Through NDA Exam you can join the Following Branch:

1. Indian Army
2. Indian Navy
3. Indian Air force

$$ Age of candidate should be between 16.5 to 19 years....

$$ Only Unmarried Male candidate are applicable for this exam...

$$ A candidate must be an Indian Origin...


BUT


$$ If you are wishing to apply for the Officer's post then you have to apply for the exam called CDS, CDS stands for the Combined Defense Service this exam is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission every year....

$$ For that you have to first of all take admission in any of Bachelor course of study then have to complete it with just passing marks then you become eligible for this examination......

Age of candidate for Officer's Post should be :

• Minimum - 19 years.
• Maximum - 25 years.

Relaxation for Reserved category:

• For OBC - 3 years on upper age.
• For SC/ST - 5 years.

If you are a Girl and 12th pass then you can not join Indian Army, Air Force or Navy at present because there is no examination for Girls with 12th pass education for joining Indian Defense.

But you should not get disheartened by this because you can join Indian Defense after completion of Graduation.

After completing Graduation Girls can appear for CDS examination which is conducted by UPSC for recruitment of officers in Indian Army , Air Force and Navy.

For Indian Army Graduates in any discipline are eligible but for Air Force and Navy you must be a Graduate in the field of Physics or Maths.

Age Limit for CDS:

Indian Air Force Academy - 19 to 23 years

Indian Naval Academy - 19 to 22 years

Indian Military Academy - 19 to 24 years

Officers' Training Academy - 19 to 25 years

Selection Procedure:

-Written Examination

-SSB Interview

-Medical Examination

There are other ways also for joining Indian Defense as officer after Graduation like Short Service Commissions and AFCAT for joining Indian Air Force.

You can join Indian Army first you can crack the NDA exam.

NDA stands for National Defense Academy.

This exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission two times in a year.

NDA - I

NDA - II

NDA has three wings:-

Indian army,

Indian airforce,

Indian navy.


Eligibility criteria:-

The applicant should be complete 12th standard or it's equivalent from a recognized university.

Percentage is not required for this exam.

PCM subjects are required for the Indian Navy & Airforce wings.

Applicant must be a citizen of India.

The age limits are 16.5 years to 19 years and no upper age relaxation.

For India Airforce and Navy you need to complete 12th standard with PCM subjects but no need for Indian army.

Only unmarried and male candidates are eligible.


Selection procedure:-

Written exam,

SSB interview,

Medical test.


Syllabus:-

Mathematics--> 300 marks,

General ability--> 600 marks.

Total 900 marks.
