sir i m a student of electronics & communication polytechnic final year i want to join indian army please tell me the basic procedure. i dont know how to join

you want to join indian army,that's very nice.the adds. for vacancies in army publish regularly in 'employment news' or in daily newspaper.there will be physical & mental ability tests.
eligibility-
*Matric qualified or higher studies or equivalent from recognized institute in india.
*Eye sight should be perfect i.e.6/6.
*No symptos should be there,of any serious disease.
*Medical clearification certificate should be issued by an designated doctor.
~if unemployed,registration should be there in 'employment office'.

I THINK you will be joining B.tech after your diploma.right !!! if so

these are the joining entries in which you can eligible for that.

so first complete your graduation there because why i am not talking about

NDA and TES ,you will be completing your age limit whats there in TES and

NDA (16.1\2 TO 19). you should be in between of them

and listen these are the entries :-
1.UES
University entry scheme. you will be having PRE SSB* and then SSB*


2.CDS
there will be written test after clearing you have to go for SSB*

3.SSC(MEN)
direct entry on the basis of your graduation aggregate
then SSB*

4.NCC 'C' direct entry
direct SSB* if you are having 'c' certificate in NCC in any wing.

Hey friend,I suggest you to go further in your studies like you can complete your graduation course and then go for the Indian Army.

You can write the CDS exam when your in fourth year itself,through which you can select the type of entry you need.

You can even go for the SSB which is of a fourteen year service,There are even courses like officers academy for which you need to send your application along with your educational qualifications to the head quarters.

In final year of Graduation, you need to pass the Combined

Defence Services Exams being conducted by UPSC, clear the SSB

interview..

Interview Technique

This technique is based on the theory of free association. The candidate

is made to talk freely and through this free association, the interviewing

officer assesses the eligibility of the candidate to become an average officer.

He does not expect the candidate to be a " know well" or a " walking

encyclopedia", but he is only trying to find out if the individual has a

keeps his eyes and ears open and is he a person, who keeps himself posted

about almost events and happenings around him.

yes, you can join in Army wing after diploma through NDA exam.

NDA exam is conducted by UPSC twice in every year.

Eligibility for NDA exam:-

*For Army wing:-
1.Candidate have to complete the 12th or its equivalent in any trade from a recognized central/state education board..
Or, One can apply for NDA exam after completion of Diploma course.

2.candidate must be a citizen of India.

3.Age should be in between 16.5-19 years.

4.Candidate must be unmarried male.

You have to fulfill all these eligibility criteria to appear in NDA exam.

Good question. I think for NDA exam girls are not eligible because of their physical weakness and at that age (16.5 to 19years) - girls will be not having that much physical fitness compare to boys. But, I don't think that this is the only major reason. But, I assume the following are some things which are restricting the girls into NDA exam

-->> Not only physical weakness but also few parents may not be not interested to send their daughters into defense services !!

-->> If 33% reservation for women applicable for the NDA exam then you will find more girls ratio than that of men ratio in defense services (which is really not acceptable - because though many girls are strong enough to face the challenges but it really more tough challenge to face in that age !!!!)

-->> Typical Indian ideology : Generally Indian girls don't show much interest in earlier stage of their career to get into NDA


And the list goes on....

I am not saying that girls are not stronger than that of boys (Though they are physically weak but mentally they are not ) But you have to understand the ideology of your parents and also some rules won't allow girls let into defense services in the initial stage of their career..!!!

But, if you are interested very much to join defense services being a girl - you can go after finishing your degree. Let me tell you that process .

Girls entry exams into the defense services :

# CDS
# SSC non-tech women
# SSC tech women
# NCC special Entry Schem for women
# 10+2 Tech entry scheme
# University Entry Scheme(UES)

You can choose one of the above ways according to your requirements and qulifications in your academics..

# If you are an Engineering student, then you can select UES(University Entry Scheme) to get into Army...
# If you have an NCC certificate, then you can select NCC Special Entry Scheme for women..
# If you have PCM(Physics,Maths,Chemistry) as your background in your 10+2 then you can choose 10+2 Tech entry Scheme..
# If you are a non-engineering student, then you can go with CDS ..

Last date for receipt of form: 28.11.2011
Entrance Test Date: 12.02.2012

NDA Exam
CDS Exam

Eligibility for NDA Exam

You need to have passed 10+2 are eligible for NDA Exam.
Candidates who have appeared for 10+2 exam and waiting for result can also apply.
You need to have physics and maths as compulsory subject for navy and air force academy.

NDA Exam is conducted twice a year . NDA Exam pattern is divided into four parts as given below....

PAPER-1 general ability
PAPER-2 mathematics
PAPER-A general knowledge
PAPER-B English

Eligibility for CDS Exam

Only male candidates are eligible for exam .
You need to be unmarried .
Your age need to be between 19-24 Years .
You need to have Degree from a recognized University .
You need to have physics & mathematics at 10+2 level compulsory .

Important date for CDS exam

CDS First exam

Issuing of application form from 29th Oct 2011 to 28th Nov 2011.
Exam will held on 12th Feb 2012.

CDS Second exam

Issuing of application form from 2nd June 2012 to 2nd July 2012.
Exam will held on 16th Sep 2012.
