The candidate should prepare well in order to crack the entrance test. The questions will be based on the syllabus of the bachelor degree (Maths). You can refer books coming under real analysis, rings, metric spaces, etc. Books of authors like R S Agarwal, Lalji Prasad, and K C Sinha will be helpful. Educational magazines like Pratiyogita Darpan will help the candidate to get prepared on reasoning, aptitude, etc.
