FOR NDA
you have to be 16 half to 19 half years of age and must have passed 12 or appearing for final results.

and it is for all criteria there is no relaxation...........
and this exam conduct twice a year whose notification come in employement newspaper!!

No age relaxation is given to the candidate belonging to the SC/ST categories.

The maximum age limit is 19 years for all.

NDA exam is going to be conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year.

Here i am going to provide the age criteria for NDA exam.

In order to be eligible for NDA exam, one should be in the age group of 16 1/2 years to 19 years.

However there is no relaxation in age at all for the candidates of other categories.

According to the notification of NDA II exam Age limit is as follows :
Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1993 and not later than 1st January, 1996 are eligible.

If you fulfill the criteria for applying for this exam then only you should apply for it.

Indian Armed Forces doesnot diversifies on the basis of caste and religion.

They just entertains the potential candidates who are willing to serve the nation, below is the eligibility criteria of NDA examination.

Eligibility Criteria for NDA examination:

1. Educational qualification- 10 +2 with pcm scheme from a recognised board for IAF and NA, and 12th Class of 10+2 system of education of equivalent for Army.

2. Age- 16 1/2 to 19 years.

To appear in NDA examination, your age should between 16 1/2 to 19 years and this age eligiblity are same for all catagories candidates. So there is no relaxation in age limits for SC, ST candidates.

If your age is more than 19 years, then you can not eligible to apply for NDA examination.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION -

For Army wing of National Defence Academy - 12th Class pass or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy - 12th Class pass or equilvalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

For all condidates lik Gen,OBC,SC/ST the age eligibilty creteria is same.
Only unmarried condidates who must attained the age of 16.5 years and must not attained the age of 19 years are eligible.

Or age should be between 16.5(include) to 19(exclude) years.

So it is same as for SC/ST which is for General

Relaxation in NDA examination

There is no relaxation in age is given to any category candidate in the NDA
examination. Candidate having age between 16.5 to 19 years are at the time
of training are only eligible to apply for the NDA examination.

Also for the NDA examination candidate should be 10+2 pass in any discipline.
Those appeared in the 10+2 examination are also eligible.

There is no reservation category for NDA exam.

Eligibility criteria is same for all the category of castes for NDA examination.

Eligibility criteria for NDA exam:

Age required:
Age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.

Education qualification required:
12th standard with Maths,Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subject.

If you fulfill with above mentioned requirement,you can apply for NDA-II exam.

NDA-II exam notification for 2011 year:

Date of issuing application form from 9th April 2011 to 9th May 2011.

Few Points on Eligibility For NDA:-

Age limits:-

NDA I is going to be Held on 17th of April for this You are Not Eligible because you have Not passed your 11th Class.

But Don't worry For NDA I 2012 you will be Eligible.

And yes One more Exam i.e NDA II for This year For this Also you are Eligible Keep tracking Employment news in the month of April for Notification because on 9th April Notification for NDA II 2011 will be published.

The Union Public Service Commission will hold the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II), 2011 on 21st August, 2011 for admission to Army, Navy, and Air Force Wings of NDA for 128th course and for the 90th Indian Naval Academy course (INAC) commencing from June, 2012

Conditions of eligibility

Age limits, sex and marital status:Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1993 and not later than 1st January, 1996 are eligible
Educational qualifications

For Army Wing of National Defence Academy: 12th class pass of 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination conducted by a state education board or a university

As per my knowledge there is no such relaxation relaxation period for NDA exam even for

SC/ST candidates .

The only age limitation is between 16.5 to 19 years . So if you belong to this category

you can apply for it , otherwise not.

NDA is National Defence Academy and the exam is conducetd by UPSC every year and it is held 2 times and the eligibility needed for this exam are:

Eligibility:

• The candidates must be a citizen of India.
• The candidates must have a age limit of 16 1/2 -19 years.
• For SC/ST candidates it is 5 years exception.
• The candidates must be a unmarried male candidates.
• The candidates must have finished +2 and for joining in air force and naval wings the candidates must have finished +2 with physics and mahem,atics as subjects.

for appear in this exam you must have to complete your 12th in PCM group ,and have to pass it with at least 60%.
