Is there any future studying Computer Science in India? Best public colleges which provide Bachelor or Master degrees in Computer Science?

I am a class XI student aspiring to pursue a B.Sc and M.Sc in Computer Science. However my parents and guardians are pressing me to pursue a B.Tech in Computer Engineering instead.

Is there any future studying Computer Science in India? If so what are the best public colleges that provide Bachelor or Master degrees in Computer Science,and how to get admitted there? Does participating in Computer Science Olympiads like ZIO,ZCO,INOI or IOI help in admission process?

Computer science is a good field if you can get admission in a top college like IIT, NIT, DTU and BITS Pilani. Only candidates from these places are offered a high package after B.Tech completion.

Hence, if you want a good career in Computer science then B Tech CSE from a top college will be the best option for you.
