You can have immense job opportunities in the government sector after completing B.Tech ECE. You can apply for jobs by attending the UPSC and SSC exams. You can apply for jobs in the defense sector, excise, income tax department, railways, telecom etc. You can attend the PSU exams. You can attend the written examination for applying for companies such as NTPC, SAIL, ONGC, and IOCL etc. You can opt for the bank exams.

CSE is the Computer Science Engineering which is one of the top courses in the world at present and is expected to dominate in the near future also.

But it usually deals with programming, networking, hacking, software testings, software developments, etc and similar jobs.


Now as you say, that you have complete B.Tech in CS and now seek jobs in the Indian Government, I am really sorry to say that the scope of CS engineers in the PSU's are very very less.

You should try for the IAS, IPS, IES( Electronics), IFS, Civil Services, Defense Services for the jobs in the Indian Government.

You can also apply in the railways SCRA (Special Class Railway Apprentice) which also requires computer engineers for various operations.


If you pursue your masters, then government teaching jobs would be opened up for you. You can consider this carer also.


Note : As you have got 75% so in that criteria you stand fine for all the government jobs available. So you need not worry about this factor.

Rest the decision is up to you.

After B tech or In Final Year also you can go for GATE examination as all PSU's are asking for GATE score for recruiting purpose.

your Aggregate must be minimum 60-65% (organizations like ISRO, DRDO ask for 65%). without any backlogs.

Some Govt companies where you can apply are:

INDIAN AIRLINES

BDL

HAL



For ISRO, HAL, DRDO, ONGC there will be separate examinations watch for that in net or newspapers.

After getting notification apply for them.

Salary will range from 15600-39500/- basic and grade pay of 5400/- will be given along with allowances.

Bank exams do not need 60% minimum 50% can also write.

Indian Air lines also gives notification at the time of vacancies have to wait and look for them.
