Hi Ayushi, after you B.Tech you have numerous opportunities to join the government sector as an engineer. Being a B.Tech student there are a whole lot of govt services you can go for.
1. Armed forces- you can join the Indian Armed forces through the CDS entry or technical graduate entry , ground duties entry.
2.You can join nationalized banks as IT manager , this sector is fast growing.
3. You can join government organisations like DRDO, HAL, NIC & so on.
4. And keep going through Employment news , many advertisements can be found regarding need of B.Tech IT graduates for govt organisations.

dear friend,
the best exam for an engineer is that of ies. this exam is conducted by upsc once in every year. the minimum qualification required for the exam is that the student must have done b.tech with at least 60% marks. the age limit for the exam is 21 to 30 years. the government job which an engineer will get after giving ies exam is very good as compared to the other private jobs. this is because, government job is a safe job in which you will never have to leave the job. they provide you house for residence. they also provide safety plans for the family of the employee.
for getting information of other government jobs, you must check the employment news regularly.

computer science engineer can also join government jobs like

1. BSNL(bharat sanchar nigam limited)
   click here http://www.mp.bsnl.co.in/ to get more information and notification mostly come in the month of feb and exam will be held in april/may.
   
2. ISRO(Indian space research organisation)

for computer science department have many scope in govt sector. but in private sector their is huge scope.

they can join in the given below govt sector

1.rail.

2.PWC.

3.NTPC.

4.DVC.

5.ONGC.

6.BHEL.

7.ONGC.

8.BSNL

9.BANK JOB

10.FCI

etc.

but private sector have better scope than govt sector. There are so many private company. Like TCS, CTS ,IBM ,HP ,L&T ,SATYAM etc.

it sounds good that you have completed your b.e with the CSE branch, when we talking about percentage then it is minimum 60% above in all companies .

every jobs are good not specially government jobs or private
if you have a potential to do work then you can do every job if not then any job can't do . it's completely depending on your skills and knowledge
you can go in many sector by this branch just like that
