After B.Sc in IT, you can look for course like M.Sc in IT/Computer Science. MCA is another suitable option. After completion of any of these courses, you can try for programming/technical jobs, teaching jobs, system admin jobs, and so on. Salary package depends with company, job designation, and work experience. At entry level, you can expect salary between Rs. 8000/- to Rs. 15,000/- per month.

I would say the best is BSc IT - I also had to choose between the two and after a meeting with 2 people who have been in the IT bussiness for over 25 years. I choose BSc IT simply because you can do a lot more with that degree. I wanted to study something that doesn't isolate me or close my paths. In the BSc degree they focus more on theory than practical experience and only studying the information already known. Where as in the BSc IT degree they do not only study this information they discover the new ones as well.
