I have completed BCA with 79% in an Autonomous College(Orissa).Now i am getting confused what to choose as my career.Everyone is saying MCA having no career.So for what i should go for? MCA or MBA.
As i am from technical field so what is good for me.
Please give me some suggestions.Help me........

both MBA and MCA are good course.

MBA is business management program and to get a job opportunities in MNC companies.

MCA is master od computer apllication (2years) program to get job in software companies.

As you are from technical background, its better to join technical course MCA.

You have secured 79% in your BCA. It reveals that you are good at your studies.You may have good subject knowledge. Then the better option for you is to go for MCA and not for MBA.

I think someone have told you in the wrong way that MCA is having no career. People who have completed MCA having excellent career.

The more strong you are in your subject knowledge and the more hard work you can do, the better you will be rewarded in this software industry.

My sincere suggestion is to join MCA and simultaneously try to complete value added courses by the time you complete your MCA.

MBA is also a very good choice but not the best option from your point as basically you are from technical background.

If you have good interest in Management field and not in software field, then go for MBA. Try to get admission in reputed colleges and can complete your MBA.

MBA people can have number of opportunities. But they should be good enough in communication skills and soft skills in addition to the basic knowledge

I think u r interested in programming ,so u should not change ur field i.e u should do M.C.A as scope of M.C.A is wider but u should do M.C.A with a good college such as BANASTHALI VIDHYAPEEDH/MITS UNIVERSITY/APTECH......

both the options i.e MBA and MCA are having very good scope but both the line are different. it depends on you to go in which line.

firstly if you want to continue your carrier with computer apllicaion field then go for MCA. after completion of this course you will get lot of chances to work with reputed IT firms as well as software companies.

MBA is totally different from your field. it is a master degree in management.
after doing this you will be able to work with global leaders .
it will give you money, status and many more.

all the best.

You secure 79% percentage in BCA .If you join in MBA with major subject IT very use full for you bright future. If you join in Other major subjects MBA you can forget your programing knowledge.If any company to hire you with great salary,you must be join in MCA.companys give a importance of BCA &MCA and you will get a good salary.
If MBA course available with major subject IT you join in MBA other wise you must join MCA.MCA is a better option for you.

Please give priority to your choice both courses are better. you can go ahead as per the requirements of the present system.

As per the technical field. MCA is far better then MBA.

don't listen anyone ...... do whatever you want... see both are totally different field... MCA is a technical field and MBA is a business field... now it is your interest that in which field you want to go... after completion of your MCA you can get a good job in technical field with a good package... also after completion of your MBA you can get a good job in managing post of a company .....
so, both the courses has a bright future...

MBA is really a management course. But MCA is all related to computer operations. As a graduate in computer applications, you can select MCA course. MCA is undoubtedly a worthful course. This course provides a demanding career in software area.

I have completed BCA with 58%.Now i am getting confused what to choose as my career.Because i am not good in programming. So for what i should go for? MCA or MBA.

if ur belonging to the BCA it is better to take admission in the MCA becoz of that u r from technical field. dont confuse dear MCA is very shining career option if u have best knowledge in ur relevent feild.

I have completed BCA regular course...also secured high percentage(77%) though which was not totally secured by mysef( i think u can understand what i want to say )...but I Dont know why I dont get any interest in programming...sometimes I think will i be able to be a programmer which I really fear to write...sometimes UNIX,JAVA,.NET just snatch my sleep of night though I like C and C .....Now i am thinking what should I do ? MCA or MBA in systems.....???? I am just puzzled..can anybody suggest me kindly what would be better opt. for me ????????

MBA & MCA both are good courses from the carrier aspect,

i would like to advice you to go for mca because as you are a bca technical graduate you should carry with mca because mca is related with bca,

and there is no less demand for mca students in job sector,

whereas mba is master of business administration, its a management degree mainly dealing with management activities , its totally different from your field,

so go for mca,
