Its not that one course is good and the other course course in not good to pursue at post graduation level between MBA and MCA.
Each course is having its own career opportunities for the candidate and one can get good job opportunites after the completion of both of the courses. So, I suggest you to choose the course whichever you are interested and where your strengths are being fully utilized. If you want to pursue your post graduation with technical related stream after the completion of BCA, then you can opt for MCA course. In current scenario, there are good number of job opportunities for the candidates of MCA and B.Tech. But to get good job opportunity, the candidate should be strong enough in subject knowledge and communication skills. At the same time, MBA course is also in good demand these days. The reason for this is being every organization need good managers in order to manage the various activities of the business and to make profits. The admission for both of these course will be given on the basis of performance in the entrance exam. Have good preparation to the respective entrance exam and crack the exam. |

The decision needs to be taken solely by you on the basis of your career aspirations. You have to decide whether you would like to have a technical oriented job or an administrative oriented job. It will be good if you first complete your MCA even if you are interested in an administrative job. You will have all the technical know how and also you will have a Master degree in Administration will help you reach higher positions in jobs.

Both the courses are good but as you have completed your BCA it would be beneficial to you if you do MCA. As for doing MBA, BBA is beneficial similarly MCA will be beneficial after BCA . After doing BCA if you switch to MCA it will help you in your studies as it will be related with it but if you go for MBA there will be no connection of BCA .

Hello,
It's difficult to compare between the two leading carrier options as MCA & MBA. Although if,we talk about MBA- *In todays global world, corporate sectors demands for MBA, graduates. *It will be more beneficial for you if you opt for specialization in MBA, like in Finance,Marketing,Human Resources, Hospital Management etc. *Just after completing MBA, you may be appointed as Subordinator,Project manager,Area Manager in various renowned companies.even in banks you may be appointed as Assistant Manager or General manger. *You will have higher payouts,if you have much interest in your work along with designated promotions. And if we talk about MCA- *It's the frequent way to opt MCA, as Masters after BCA. *In many software companies there is a huge requirement of software engineers for software testing. *In MCA you may persue following specialization- ¤System management. ¤Management information system. ¤System Development. ¤Networking. ¤Internet Working. ¤Application Software. ¤Troublshooting. ¤Hardware Technology. You can also persue ALCCS (Advance Level Course in Computer Science) after completion of MCA,from IETE which is valued as M.tech Certificate. For ALCCS you can visit-www.iete.org Although we can only advice you,we can't direct you to opt any particular carrier option. Its completely depends on your interest to opt MBA or MCA as subject. You can do well in the field your interes is the most & it will lead you to the top stairs of the success. Ok, best of luck. |

Hi arya,
The course you want to pursue depends on you interest. Any course will have its own advantages and disadvantages. If you are technically strong enough and want to explore your core competency, go for MCA. If you want to be specialized in some area other than IT then go for MBA. MBA helps you to learn how to make use of limited resources available with you. This course can be chosen and can be pursued at any stage of your life. Even while you are working, you can chose various management programs available in top reputed institutes.MCA is a 3-year course which gives you a promising bright I career. You can have lot of opportunities in IT sector after completion of MCA. MBA is the 2-year program which is also having great demand. The thing that matters is the institute in which you pusue your post graduation. Regards Prudvi Raj |

MBA and MCA both are post graduate courses. one is completely management side and another one is pure in programming side. both are good degrees. and these two are having good demand in the market. choosing best one is depends on your interest and capabilities. suppose if you are very good in programming skills then go for MCA. If you are interested in management education, then go for MBA ,but for MBA, you should be having leadership qualities, you always ready to face challenges, ready to resolve various conflicts in the organization and you have to lead the team. i.e. you have to be a team leader. hope now you got an idea towards course selection. good luck... |

MBA and MCA both are post graduation courses.
The basic differences between these two courses are: 1. Objectives: MBA is Masters in Business Administration, while MCA is Masters in Computer Application. Duration: MBA is a 2 years post graduation course and MCA is a 3 years post graduation course. 3. For MCA, Any graduate who has passed or appearing for the final year degree examination in any discipline (Science, Commerce, Arts, Engineering or any approved University) is eligible to apply. But candidates must have mathematics as a subject in their 10+2 course or any one year of graduation 4. For MCA, Computers and Related Electronic Equipment Manufacturers, Database Management, E-Commerce, Networking, Embedded Technologies, Design Support And Data Communications, System Maintenance, Security and Surveillance Companies, Software Development Companies etc etc....
