i m doing btech in civil engineering branch (2nd yr) and i wanted to know what will be better for me after doing btech-mtech(in any branch of civil) or mba?????????
n if mtech then which branch will be more preferable n where??????
and what is the scope of job after btech or mtech or mba??????

hello dear, both are having lot of scope . But my idea is you can opt for M.Tech it will in your area and also it has lot of carrer options, like teaching line or in any company sectors.

But if MBA means ,your new to this line also you can go only in company sectors.
So,Finally you can go for anyone according to your areas of interest.

I am Pranati doing btech in civil engineering (3rd year). i am confused which one to opt either mba or mtech after engineering.I want huge salary i.e more than one lakh per month and i dont know which course will satisfy me and if i opt for mtech which branch should i take? I came to know that companies dont select girls for their work. SO would it be better for me to go for MBA????

i am doing btech in manufacturing engineering. Can i do mtech in mechanical,aotumotive,aerospace,robotics or any other branch? It can done in abroad like us and uk. Is their any scope of manufacturing engineering?

ALSO i want to know what will be my salary if i do not do my mtech and get 2 years experience.

afta doin btech in civil just work in a construction company for atleast 3 months before goin 4 mtech or mba or whatever it is..then u will get to know what is diz construction field..after diz it will be easy 4 u to decide whch field u shud go ...just mail me if u hav any doubtz..

i am suhas doing my 2nd yr degree in civil.. i heard that doing ME is very good for career. so i want to ask that what are different branches or streams in it. which of them are more important, to choose a career....!!

both the sstreams whether mba or mtech have different job prospects after persuing.
MBA refers to some management work & it's not clarified in which trade you want to do MBA.
IF YOU OPT FOR m.tech you have a sound knowledge of of your trade.
in both the cases you will get good job because higher degree tends to higher package salaries.

Hi,

After B.tech one can go with the either MBA or M.tech.

For civil engineers M.tech is preferable i think so......

Through Gate better to go with the m.tech.......

Post graduation is always a good option.
Branch or rather subjects/fields in Civil depends from college to college.

you can go for either of them, both of them would give you good opportunity to learn and earn.

If you take M.tech as your option, you would be working as engineer.
While if you go for M.B.A, you can study subjects like real estate management

Just make sure what ever you choose between M.Tech and MBA, you do it from top reputed college. Top reputed colleges have good infrastructure, good faculty and better placements.

Each one has its own importance......as you belong to civil engineering......it is better to go for m.tech than mba....

There are many good courses in m.tech..... The best among them are:
1.vlsi design
2.embedded sytem
3.digital communication
4.electronics devices

to enter into good job.....you need to atleast 65% throughout your career....besides that you need to have good communication and technical skills.......

no u dont have to do any work experience because iim recruitmeny is dependent only on 2 parameters that is 1) cat exam 2) group discussion
if u qualify cat with good score than u will go to group discussion and after that if u pass out from this both u will able to get entry in iim............

You can choose either of the streams as they are equally rewarding in terms of salary.
It depends on whether or not you are willing to work on or off site.
If you would love to work on the site(construction) then go for an M.Tech else go for an MBA.
Also the subjects that you like matter.If these subjects are civil based then you must opt for M.Tech else an MBA.
