Is the Biology subject important while doing Science in school? What if I am not interested in it? How to concentrate on this better to score more? Can someone please guide me with the complete information on the same? Thank you!

Biology is not mandatory to study while doing Science in school.

You can also choose an alternate subject "Mathematics" in place of Biology.

However, if you are interested in pursuing Medical course like MBBS or BDS in future, then Biology is compulsory for you to study.

Without studying Biology, you cannot pursue Medical courses.

If you are not interested in Biology, then better you choose Mathematics field.

And make your mind to pursue Engineering in future.

Its not like one subject is important and the other subjects are not important at School level. Each and every subject has its own importance and if you want to understand subject easily in your further academic levels, it would be better if you give equal importance to all the subjects at School level.

All the basics or fundamentals of the subjects would be taught to the candidates at School level only. Hence don't neglect any subject.

If you are finding any difficulties in understanding subject, go for tuition or in the school itself, clarify all your doubts with your faculty.

Spend more time towards the preparation for this subject with full attention. Then you can easily understand and score well.

To get concentration on this subject, you need to increase your interest in this subject.

Biology matters a lot in your further academic levels especially if you would like to opt for Science related streams in your Graduation level like
-Medicine
-BDS
-Pharmacy
-Nursing
-Biotechnology etc.

If you have any plan to opt for these courses, definitely you should have strong foundation in Biology at School level.

Please make a note of it and study it well at least from now onward.
