What is MS in Biotechnology? what are its scope? what is the elegibility for taking admissions in it? names of colleges and their admission procedure.please give me answer i am waiting.

The M.S (By Research) is offered in the IITs like IIT-Kharagpur and IIT-Bombay for the biotechnology stream after M.Sc. But you MUST have a valid GATE score above 94 percentile in the Life science stream or else in the Chemistry also is an eligible criteria. If you have the CSIR - JRF or the UGC -NET, it can also be considered for the same positions. Try to clear a exam.

Today biotech has scope all over india.The eligibility is a plus pass with minimum 50%.You may go for genetic engg, enzyme engg and tech,nanobiotech and so on.

dear friend , MS (MASTER IN SCIENCE ) is a degree which is fruitful for those who wan't to go in research field .

Scope of Bio-Tech are very good and in demanding too much.
You can try your luck in any of the IITs like Kanpur ,kharagpur,Delhi and Indian institute of science.
Ms in bio-tech is for the student who is interested in research field.
You have clear the entrance exam .

i have completed my bsc this year and i have two choices msc(2 yrs) in biotech from jammu university and mtech(3.5 yrs) in biotech from gautam budhha university but i dont know which one to opt i want my career in research feild plz guide me
also which will be better ms after msc or after mtech
