Hello sir, I am B.Sc Mathematics student and want to study CA course. Can a B.Sc Mathematics at the same time study CA course? Is there any relaxation for me? Suitable time to join CA course?

Yes, Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Chartered Accountancy course can be pursued simultaneously. But it becomes sometime very cumbersome for candidates to handle both graduation and CA course.

It is advisable to first complete bachelor's degree in Mathematics and secure minimum 60% marks or more in graduation. Graduates and post graduated in non commerce stream with 60% marks or more can directly apply for second stage of Chartered Accountancy course called Integrated Professional competence course.

There will be some relaxation for you after completion of Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.

There is a rule of ICAI according to which candidates with stream apart from commerce must score 60% marks minimum to directly apply for IPCC stage.

At present, you can simultaneously appear for CPT exam and after clearing which you will be enrolled in Chartered Accountancy course.
