Re: Can a BSc IT degree holder do M.Tech?
Dear Friend
The educational qualification required for getting admission in M.Tech. course is either a B.Tech. or M.Sc. course. So in your case you can get admission in M.Tech. after completion of M.Sc.. For now you should take admission in M.Sc. (IT) and continue your studies. After M.Sc. you should take up a job and with some years experience you should go for M.Tech. |

Re: Can a BSc IT degree holder do M.Tech?
The minimum educational qualification required to be eligible for the MTech course is either a M.Tech or a M.Sc degree from any field.
As you have done B.Sc, so I would suggest that you complete your post graduation ie. M.Sc(IT). Thereafter you can become eligible for the MTech course. Eligibility: Master degree holders in any branch of Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Applications or equivalent and those who are in the final or pre-final year of such programmes. Final and pre-final students ca also apply. |

Quote:
So after B.sc IT, you are not eligible to apply for M.tech course. So, i will suggest you, please do your post graduation i.e M.sc, then you are eligible to apply for M.tech course. And to get admission in M.tech, you have to scored good marks in GATE examination, only then you will get good colleges. So, after completing 4 year degree course, candidates are eligible to apply for M.tech programmes. |

Re: Can a BSc IT degree holder do M.Tech?
dear friend,
No , my friend B.sc IT degree holder is not eligible for M.tech course. To get admission in M.tech course you have to appear in GATE exam.. Eligibility for GATE exam:- 1.Candidate must have complete the graduation in fields like- Engineering/Technology/Architecture. or, 2.Candidate must have complete the masters in fields like- M.Sc/MBA/MCA.. 3.Final year candidate can also appear in GATE exam.. 4.No age limit to appear in GATE exam. 5.No number of attempt restriction for GATE exam. So, if you wants to do M.tech then you have to first complete M.Sc in IT.. All the best. |
