Re: Can a BSc degree holder pursue MBA from IIT?
Dear pal,
any bachelor degree holder can persue master degree in business administration. But to get into campus like IIT the competition is more and admission is based on the marks secured by the aspirant in the entrance exam. To get into the top campus you need to write entrance exam . The various entrance exam conducted for admitting the aspirants to the course are CAT, MAT, TANCET etc. The eligibility for appearing in the exam is a bachelor degree with 55% in the degree course. There is no age limit for appearing. And the aspirant can apply any number of times. To get into the indian institute of management the competition is more and the admission is through the cat score followed by which the aspirant will be called for group discussion those who are clearing this will be admitted after personnel interview. you need to go through a serious of stages before getting admitted and so it is necessary to do a good preparation. |

MBA from IITs Hi friend, for doing MBA , minimum requirement is "A candidate should be graduate with 50% marks in graduation or should be in final year of such courses." B.SC degree holder person is termed as graduate. so, he can definitely apply for MBA entrance exam. For admission to MBA in IITs , you need to give JMET(Joint Management entrance test). After clearing this exam , you need to attend GD and interview, if you clear that , you will be offered admission in MBA in IITs. Admission in all the IITs will be through central counseling according to merit. Hope this will help you. for any other query , please post it here. best of luck regards. |

Re: Can a BSc degree holder pursue MBA from IIT?
If you have any graduate or equivalent degree, you are eligible to do MBA,an open PG course. And if you want to do MBA from Indian Institutes of Tecgnology, then you need to attempt some good entrance exams like CAT(commom admission test) and you must have first position in 10th and 12th class. You need to work very hard for taking admission in IIT. The one best thing for applying MBA in best institutes is that you can give exams any number of times or in any year, with any gap when you are prepared for it.
