Sorry to say that girls candidate are not applicable for NDA exam .Only unmarried male candidate are eligible for NDA exam.

NDA stand for National Defence Service Exam.This exam is conduct twice time in a year by UPSC .

This Entrance Exam will let the candidates to be placed in the following defence services

1. Army wing
2. Navy wing
3. Air Force wing

If you have completed 12th standard from recognized board with science department you are applicable for NDA exam.Commerce and student are applicable for only Indian Army branch.

But your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.You must have citizenship of India.

From my point of view , You can go for Graduation degree first .If you are really interested in defence sector then you can apply CDS exam after graduation because Girls are applicable for CDS exam.

As per the terms and conditions, Girls are not at all eligible to apply for NDA as this is only meant for Male candidate.

Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) conducts NDA(National Defence Service exam two times a year for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

In order to be eligible for NDA one must be a male candidate only. The candidate should be an unmarried Indian having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years. The candidate should possess good Physical and Mental Health.

Being a Girl if you are interested for Defence service then you mmay apply for CDS(Combined Defence Service) conducted by UPSC after completing Graduation Degree.

But girls are not eligible for NDA(National Defence Academy) because in NDA PC(Permanent Commission) is provided and girls are entitled to SSC(Short Service Commission) only. So you should be at least a graduate to be able to join Indian Defence sector. After your Defence you can apply for following entries:

1. CDS(Combined Defence Services) exam:
2. AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test):
3. And various other direct entries based on your graduation type(maximum in case of Engineering).

I am very Sorry to say this girls candidate are not Elligible to write NDA exam it is .Only for unmarried male candidate.

NDA is National defense academy which is a popular academy organize the entrance exam for the selection of candidates into defense forces.
