hello i have 81% in 12 with 79.33% in pcm. plz tell me that is i am eligible for bitsat.

this is the eligibility condition for BITSAT-2010:

For admission to any of the Integrated First Degree Programmes, candidates should have passed the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Further the candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 80% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in 12th examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects and should have adequate proficiency in English.

so it requires 80% aggregate in PCM and you are having 79.33% so you are not eligible for it.

friend bits require 80% in physics,chemistry and math commonly,but your marks is not 80% in these subject commonly,
so you are not elligible for it.

sorry you are not eligible for BITSAT as they require 80% in PCM and 60% in others. it dosent matter how much your have scored in all the subject combined.

my dear friend you are eligible for this exam, because you have get above 60% marks in pcm.......and you can also get above 80% marks in overall subjects, so dont worry, you are eligible for it.

it is very unfortunate that you are not eligible for BITSAT examination.
since they require an aggregate of 80% marks in Physics,chemistry ,maths as well as english of 12 th board exams.
and you do not meet the above eligibility criteria .

Students who have passed 12th examination in 2008 or earlier are NOT eligible to appear in BITSAT-2010. Students who are presently studying in BITS at any of its campuses are not eligible to appear in BITSAT-2010.

Candidates should have taken Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 10+2 for BITSAT 2010.

it is very unfortunate that you were able to secure 80% overall but not in PCM because you are not eligible to take the BITSAT examination.
for that you must have scored at least 80% in PHYSICS,CHEMISTRY and MATHS.

Sorry brother you are not eligible for BITSAT because you didnt score exactly 80.00% in PCM.

If you read BITSAT FAQs there its clearly mentioned that even if you get 79.6% you are not eligible. You have to score exactly 80.00% !

You can try other entrance exams like UPTU, IIT-JEE,IP university, Jamia,AIEEE and various others...

scored atleast 60% marks in each of maths ,physics and chemistry, then
you are eligible for BITSAT exams otherwise you are not eligible for this

You may not be eligible for little number,in general they need minimum 80% in PCM of 12th,
but you are unlucky .

Unfortunately I have to say this is not possible to write BITSAT for you. Just take a look on the eligibility criteria of BITSAT
-> You must pass 10+2 with at least aggreate 80% marks in PCM.
-> You must score at least 60% marks in each of the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
-> You should have adequate proficiency in English.
It doesn't depends on your overall percentage like best of five. This is only on PCM. One must secure minimum aggreate 80% marks in PCM. Also one needs to make to he/she has got equal or more than 60% marks in each PCM subjects. But don't get disappointed you qualify for all other exams like IIT jee, AIEEE, VITEEE and other state level entrance exams. That's all I can say.

I have the same question as above that if I am not able to get 60% in 1 subject will I still be eligible?

yes you are eligible for giving the BITSAT exam, as the eligibility criteria for appearing in the BITSAT is that you should be having a minimum of 60% marks in PCM, but you should be having at least 80% in class 12th and as you fulfill the eligibility criteria, you are allowed to give the BITSAT exam.
