In Banking sector, we have 2 kinds of banks -Public Sector Banks -Private Sector Banks In private sector, each and every bank will conduct its own selection procedure separately for the recruitment of PO positions. In public sector, on behalf of all the public sector banks, IBPS (Institute of Banking personnel Selection) is conducting common written exam for the recruitment of PO positions. SBI and SBI will not come under this category. The selection procedure to get PO job will be Written Exam Interview The written exam consists of questions from the following sections Reasoning Numerical Ability General Awareness General English Computer and Marketing Knowledge There is negative marking in the written exam. One should have to secure minimum qualifying marks in each of the categories of the written exam to get through it. You should have completed Graduation with minimum 60% of marks in order to be eligible to apply for these positions. The required age criteria for the candidates will be -For General category, 21-30 years -For OBC category 21-33 years -For SC or ST category 21-35 years.
