Re: Can I appear for AMIE after completing Diploma in Mechanical Engineering? Is it recognized by the Government?
Associate Membership of Institute of Engineers Exam acronym as AMIE, is an engineering entrance examination which is held twice in a year. For this examination candidate must have passed 12th class from a recognized board. The minimum percentage required in 12th class for Associate Membership of Institute of Engineers Exam is 45%. A minimum age of 18 years on the date of application for selection. As per my knowledge, you are not eligible for AMIE after completing Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
