Can I pursue Aeronautical Engineering after completing Diploma in Mechanical Engineering? Can I get admission in Government Aeronautical college?


Respected Sir, I am a student from Andhra Pradesh. I am interested in studying Aeronautical Engineering after completing my Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Am I eligible to get admission in any Government Aeronautical college after completing Diploma in Mechanical Engineering? Please answer as soon as possible.

No, you are not eligible to get admission to pursue Aeronautical Engineering course after completion of your three years Diploma course in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised board. To be eligible to pursue Aeronautical Engineering course, you should have passed 12th standard with PCM stream or three years Diploma course in Aeronautical Engineering from a recognised board. Since, you have not pursued Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering, you are not eligible to pursue Aeronautical Engineering course.

Respected sir, I have complete my 12th in 2015 with PCM & Electronics combination with 50% & take direct second year admission in Instrumentation & passed diploma with 70% , So am I eligible for Aeronautical Engineering ? If yes then what is the admission procedure & in which college this course is available ?
