LLB stands for Bachelor of Legislative Law and it is three year duration course after bachelor degree and five year after 12th.
So, after intermediate you are eligible to get admission in B.A LL.B course. The entrance examination is conducted by NLU as CLAT, BHULAT and other entrance examination for admission in the course. The required qualification to appear for the examination is that the candidate must have passed 10+2 from any recognised board. |

Hello,
There are two ways to apply for LLB course after class 12th. First one is choosing Some Bachelors degree like B.A immediately after class 12th, and then, later on, proceeding with LLB course as 'Bachelors degree is eligibility for joining LLB course'. These will be different studies and maybe even different Universities/Colleges. Another option is to choose an Integrated course called 'BA.LLB' You can opt this course immediately after class 12th. You can look out for nearest College/University providing the LLB's study. You will have to provide all the paperwork and Marksheets and wait for selection after the merit list is provided. Some Institutes could even take Entrance Examination.but the ones I have approached closest to me do not take entrance exams. |

LLB stands for Bachelor of Legislative Law and as the name suggests it is bachelor degree course after pursuing which you will head towards becoming an advocate.
Having completed your Class 12th with 75% marks you are eligible for pursuing LLB course of five years as for LLB course of three years your minimum educational qualification must have been graduation degree from a recognized university. Also for pursuing the same course from any National Law University of India ( NLUs ) you need to appear and qualify CLAT ( Common Law Admission Test ). For appearing in CLAT, you need to have the nationality of India with a higher secondary school degree in any discipline with at least 45% aggregate. There is no age limit for this examination. Apart from NLUs, to pursue the same course from Central Universities of India like BHU, DU, etc. you must qualify their respective entrance examination. Re: What is the procedure to apply for LLb procedure after completing class 12th? Are other degree courses required for applying?
LLB stands for Bachelor of Legislative Law and it is a professional bachelor degree course after completing you will get the designation of an advocate.
--> Basically, on the basis of duration of course and educational qualification required for the same LLB courses are of two types which are as discussed below :- * Type I) LLB course of five years :- For student who are interested in pursuing the same course after their higher secondary education from a recognized board. * Type II) LLB Course of three years :- For student who are interested in pursuing the same course after completing their graduation degree course in any discipline from a recognized university. ** So being a Class 12th passed candidate, it is evident that you are eligible for pursuing LLB course of five years without any further degree and for pursuing the same course from NLUs ( National Law University ) you will have to qualify CLAT ( Common Law Admission Test ). For further details and updates regarding the same examination you can log on to the link www.clat.ac.in. |
