Re: Can I appear in NDA 2015 after turning 19 years old?
You have mentioned that you will complete your class tenth in July, 2015 and at present your age is 18 years.
So, you will complete your 10+2 in 2017 at the age of 20 years. As per latest modifications of UPSC that conducts NDA entrance test, the age limit for the NDA is 16.5-19.5 years. So, you will not be eligible to appear for the NDA entrance test. However I would suggest you to secure better percentage of marks in Physics, Chemistry and mathematics of 10+2, it will give you chance to appear for Technical entry Scheme to join Indian Army as the upper age limit for TES is 21 years. If you want details about TES, official website of TES is www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. |

Re: Can I appear in NDA 2015 after turning 19 years old?
You will not be eligible for NDA at your age. The age limit is 19years at the time of admission in the academy. You would cross 19 before even completing 12th. So you are not eligible for NDA.
But if you are interested in joining Defence then complete your graduation. As your age is already on higher side, prefer a 3year graduation course instead of 4yr engg. Then apply for CDS at final year of graduation. On qualifying CDS and subsequently SSB,you will get into defense forces. Meanwhile keep preparing and studying |
