Sir , am going to be 18 years old in July ....and I have just completed my 10 .... So I will be completing my 12 in the age of 19+ ....can I join NDA 2015 !!?

As per age criteria, you are not eligible for NDA 2015 exam because at this time your age is over 19 years.

NDA stands for National Defence Service exam. NDA Examination is conducted for 3 wings-Indian Air Force, Indian Navy and Indian Army.

The candidate's who have completed the 12th standard from a recognized board or equivalent exam are eligible for NDA exam. Final year of 12th standard candidate are eligible for NDA exam.

Your age should be in between to 16.5 years to 19 years. There is no age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

No, you are not eligible for NDA (National Defence Academy) after 19 years of age. To be eligible for NDA Examination, you must have attained the age of 16.5 years and not more than 19 years at the time of commencement of training and you are already going to be 18 years of age, when you completed your intermediate you already crossed 19 years of age.

Intermediate (12th) is the minimum requirement to be registered for NDA Entrance examination. NDA examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year. Only 12th candidates are eligible for NDA (Army, Naval and Air force wings). Any candidates who completed his intermediate examination are eligible for Army wings.

To be eligible for the Air force and Naval wings, you have to complete your intermediate examination with physics and mathematics as a compulsory subject.

Those who wishing to apply for NDA 2015 exam can fill application form online from the official website of UPSC.

NDA Paper include two individual paper and the examination is objective with negative marking.

~~ Paper I: Mathematics which is of maximum 300 marks.
~~ Paper II: General Ability (GA) which is of maximum 600 marks.

Time: 02 hours and 30 minutes.

As per the NDA Eligibility criteria, candidate must be in the age limit of 16.5-19 years and must have completed or appearing his plus 2.

If you cross 19 by the time you complete your plus 2 , then you are not eligible to give this exam.

No , you cannot apply for NDA after the age of 19 years which is the maximum limitations.
NDA stands for National Defence Academy and the examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year .

The eligibility criteria is +2 students whether passed or pursuing can apply for it with PCM and English as main subjects. But the age of the candidates must be 16.5-19 years .

The written examination is of 900 marks with Mathematics paper of 300 marks and General Ability of 600 marks .

After qualifying the candidates are called for SSB .

You have mentioned that you will complete your class tenth in July, 2015 and at present your age is 18 years.

So, you will complete your 10+2 in 2017 at the age of 20 years.

As per latest modifications of UPSC that conducts NDA entrance test, the age limit for the NDA is 16.5-19.5 years.

So, you will not be eligible to appear for the NDA entrance test.

However I would suggest you to secure better percentage of marks in Physics, Chemistry and mathematics of 10+2, it will give you chance to appear for Technical entry Scheme to join Indian Army as the upper age limit for TES is 21 years.

You will not be eligible for NDA at your age. The age limit is 19years at the time of admission in the academy. You would cross 19 before even completing 12th. So you are not eligible for NDA.

But if you are interested in joining Defence then complete your graduation.
As your age is already on higher side, prefer a 3year graduation course instead of 4yr engg.
Then apply for CDS at final year of graduation.
On qualifying CDS and subsequently SSB,you will get into defense forces.
Meanwhile keep preparing and studying

I am sorry to say but you are not going to be eligible to give the NDA exam and subsequently join the Indian Army, Navy or Airforce.
The age criteria to be eligible to give the NDA exam is from 16.5 to 19 years of age.

Sir ,I'm studying inter 1st year now at the age of 17 and I completing the 2 in the age of 18 so. Can I eligible for NDA exam

If I turn 19th this year in September and complete my 12th by Jan 2018 can I join NDA ???
