I am in class 11th now . I was born on 24 sep 1998 . I am going to give nda 1 in 2015 then can i join the army if the course will start on january 2016 ? when i will be in 12th ?

Yes, you can join Indian Army by appearing in NDA exam in 2015 and join Indian Army in 2016.

Eligibility:

. Candidate must be a citizen of India

. Only male candidates are eligible to appear for the exam

. Candidates aspiring to appear for NDA exam must be aged in between 16.5 years to 19 years

. Candidate must either have passed class 12th or should be studying presently studying in it

NDA NA Exam (I) 2015

Date of notification: December 27, 2014
Last date for application: January 23, 2015
Date of exam: April 19, 2015


NDA NA Exam (II) 2015

Date of notification: June 20, 2015
Last date for application: July 17, 2015
Date of exam: September 27, 2015

You can join in Indian Army only after completion of your 12th standard from a recognised board. You cannot join in next year by appearing NDA examination in this year. You need to join in the same year in the year in which you have appeared in NDA examination. You cannot appear in NDA examination without completion of your 12th standard. So, I suggest you to appear in NDA examination only after completion of your 12th standard, so, that you can easily join in army in the same year by appearing in NDA examination.

Yes, you can join Indian Army through NDA exam. Details of NDA exam is given below.

NDA stands for National Defence Service exam. NDA Examination is conducted for 3 wings-Indian Air Force, Indian Navy and Indian Army.

The candidate's who have completed the 12th standard from a recognized board or equivalent exam are eligible for NDA exam. Final year of 12th standard candidate are eligible for NDA exam.

Your age should be in between to 16.5 years to 19 years. There is no age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.
