You have completed M.A in Political Science, you are eligible for UGC NET exam in Political Subject. But you can't appear for UGC NET exam in Public Administration.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test. This exam is conducted by UGC.

The educational qualification required for NET exam is masters degree from a recognized university with above 55% marks. 5% relaxation is given for SC/ST category candidates. Final year student are also eligible for NET exam.

There is no age criteria for NET exam but for JRF posts, your age should be below 28 years.

You are eligible as You have completed MA.NET is the National Eligibility Test conducted by UGC to award JRF and Lecturership.

Yes of course you can appear in the NET examination.

Basically the NET is national eligibility test.This entrance exam is conducted by the UGC every year for the post of JRFs and Lectureship.

To be eligible for this exam it is must to have a Post graduation degree course in any stream from a recognised university with minimum 55% marks in aggregate.

If the student is applying for the JRF post then his/her agr must be under the 27 years. For the Lectureship there is not any age bar. One can apply any time whenever they want to apply for the Lectureship.

for ugc net both the subjects are in the list pol science as well as public administration but problem arise for set exams where you will find public admonistration only in few state net exams list.
