I am afraid but you can not apply for the IBPS Clerk exam. Neither you meet the educational requirement and neither you are meeting age criteria for this entrance exam.

To appear for the IBPS Clerk you should have at least graduation degree. But you have only passed 12th standard. While the minimum age should be 20 years where you are only 19 years old.

My suggestion would be that you should first complete graduation. There is no banking exam which you can apply for without completing graduation. Earlier 12th pass would have been allowed to appear for the IBPS Clerk but on the request of the participating banks, this criteria has been changed.

Eligibility Criteria

1. IBPS Exams are for Indian citizens only.

2. You should first complete graduation degree.

3. Percentage is not the issue.

4. A diploma or degree in Computers is also required. You can also appear having studied Computers or IT subject in high school or college.

5. You should be fluent in official language of the state where you want job. For example if want Clerk job in Maharashtra then you must be able to write and speak Marathi.

6. 20 years is the minimum age to apply for IBPS Clerk.

7. Candidate should not be more than 28 years to apply for exam.

Age Relaxation

1. The 3 years is maximum given to OBC candidate.

2. SC/ST is given 5 years relaxation.

3. 10 years is the relaxation for PWD.

I am afraid but you are not eligible to sit for the IBPS Clerk Exam right now. You are an H.S. pass out but to sit for the IBPS exam one needs to be a graduate first. Moreover your age is 18+ right now. The minimum age limit for this exam is 20 years. So i would request you that you should first complete your graduation and then start preparing for this exam in your final year.

Some more details about the examination:-

IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. It conducts an examination for the recruitment of clerical cadres. As many as 20 participating banks have approved this examination.

IBPS Clerk Exam Eligibility Criteria:-
  • You need to be a citizen of India.
  • You should get a degree in any discipline from any university which is recognized by the Central Government.
  • The minimum age limit is 20 years and for general category candidates the upper age limit is 28 years.
  • There is age relaxation for the reserved category candidates. For SC/ST candidates it is 5 years, for OBC candidates it is 3 years and for PWD candidates it is 10 years.
  • You need to have prior knowledge about how to operate a computer. This is an important criteria.
  • In whichever state you are applying you need to know the local language of that state.

Exam Pattern:-

The examination is conducted online and the questions will be mainly of objective types. A total of five tests will be there of 40 marks each. The total marks allotted, therefore, is 200 and same number of questions will be asked as well. You will get two hours to complete the whole paper. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each negative answer you give. Following are the five objective tests you need to stress upon:-
  1. Reasoning
  2. English Language
  3. Numerical Ability
  4. General Awareness
  5. Computer Knowledge

Hope this helps :-> :->
