I am Mrs Sathi Chakraborty, 37 years old. Have been training recruit clerks for 5 years in spoken and written communication English where else can I apply in Defence and Army jobs?

Hey friend,

Joining in defence which includes forces such as:

> Indian Army
> Indian Navy
> Indian Air Force

is not possible by being 37 years old.

If you are interested in joining in defence you need to write the entrance exam for the force which is conducted in India and there are many entrance exams which can be written based on the qualification of yours.

As you have said that you are a 37 years old,there are no entrance exam which you can write in order to join in defence.

The entrance exam would include such as:

> Nationality
> Age Limit
> Education Qualification.
> Physical Standard

You are not satisfying the age limit needed for any of the entrance exam needed which makes you ineligible for applying for any entrance exam to join in defence

FIRST YOU WANT TO DECIDE WHICH FIELD IS SUITABLE FOR YOU IN HEALTH WISE AS WELL AS IN MIND WISE.YOU SAID YOU ARE IN IT FIELD SO YOU CAN BE ELIGIBLE FOR ALL THE THREE SO MAKE THE DECISION FOR RIGHT CHOICE . The upper age limit to join most of the defense jobs is 25 years. So certainly you are not eligible to join them. You have not mentioned your qualification. If you are a graduate and interested in a teaching profession you must consider pursuing B.Ed. If you are a post graduate you can take the NET or SLET exam.

With Intermediate qualification you can apply for the following posts

1.National Defence Academy

For this post age limit:16.5 to 19 years
These are recruited by CDS exam
The notification was released in every year in UPSC

2.Constable post in Police department:

Age limit:18 to 25 years
Height:168cm
Chest:84cm
these post are recruited by the police departments of the states indivisually
If you belonging to SC/ST you can apply for Sub inspector post in Police department.
And also BSF,CRPF,ITBP also you can apply.

No, its not possible for you to apply in Defence & Army job at the age of 37 years as the eligibility criteria for the same is as under-

SSC non technical women -:

Graduation/ Post Graduation/ Degree with Diploma/BA LLB from recognized University

19 to 25 yrs for Graduates 21 to 27 Yrs for Post Graduates/ Specialist/ JAG


NCC special entry for women :

Graduate 50% aggregate marks, 2 yrs service in NCC Sr Div Army with minimum 'B' Grade in C Certificate Exam

19 to 25 yrs

So the maximum age is 25 years.But at this age there is no entrance exam which you can write in order to join in defence or army.
