Can any one tell me that B.tech (mech) from KSOU (mysore) can apply for GATE EXAMINATION...

Please HELP..!

Yes, you are eligible. Engineering degree from any of the recognized University is the basic qualification required for GATE. There is no upper age limit for attending the exam. One can attend the test any number of times. This helps candidates to improve their scores from previous times.

You have completed B-Tech in Mechanical Engineering from KSOU so i think you are applicable for GATE exam because KSOU is recognized university .But you must fulfill the eligibility criteria for GATE Exam .

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering .This exam is conducted for M-Tech admission , PHD admission and some of the organization recruit the candidate through GATE score(PSU).

Those candidate have completed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or Architecture/Design or its equivalent or masters degree in science department are applicable for GATE Exam.

There is no restriction for attempts in GATE exam .So you can try here maximum times.GATE score card is valid for TWO years.There is no marks criteria.
